Hi, my name is px aka. playerx, Rob Friedman, and other variants. Lately I've been trying the "sources go direct" model more than just my occasional basic blogging, by trying some citizen journalism with video, protesting and activism. I'm a plain text loving kind of guy. Analog synthesizers, drum machines, sequencers, bass lines, various 8-bit things and BBS scene ASCII art hold a place in my <3. A bemused, communications, information technology loving professional since the early 1990's. Proud owner of great domains with a vision and passion for clarity, efficiency, the Internet, transportation, health care, information privacy, data, and security. Enjoys the occasional social activity, movie/televison watching, and long ago a one-time hardcore PC & LANparty gamer/console enthusiast, who still likes to enjoy a fun game with friends here and there. Some people have a Zen garden for stress relief. Well rocks are heavy, so I have a mostly hand coded personal home page on the Internet that I sometimes update and try to keep up with easily testable and known standards. Currently living in Laguna Hills, California.
Presently kicking dirt getting good
grades as a Part-time community college student, and unpaid computer
science lab aide several days a week.
I could use a solid place of
gainful employment which needs someone like me. (See my resume)
(Within 15 minutes driving or by bus,
willing to move or telecommute, and other requirements for discussion.)
The easiest best way to follow me online right now
is via the FriendFeed or Twitter links below. I have the
obligitory Flickr, Google, YouTube, profiles/accounts, and some other obscure ones I don't visit as often. What
the heck is Electronic Mail? It's cool. Go figure it out then email me and I'll get back
to you. If you promise to leave a message should I not pick-up, you
can even call me on the telephone. ☏

Did the majority 'YES' voters of California Prop 215, and revolving door politicians who crafted Senate Bill 420 or subsequent laws, intentionally seek to create an unemployable work-force, wrought with dramatically unfair employability discriminations? Maybe a sign of something worse to come. At least drafters of Arizona's Proposition 203 managed to include some work-place protections for patients et al, although the overall program execution by officials at high levels thus far is a joke as far as I can discern. At a 2011.08 Town Hall style meeting, President Barack Obama said that, "Medical Cannabis should be between the patient and prescribing doctor." A legal medical cannabis patient. One-time homeowner, serial renter, now long-term apartment occupant, unable to grow and I rely on legal safe to access cannabis dispensaries .
My history in brief and life after Eyematic
Interfaces, Inc. now
owned by Google, Inc., developers of facial
recognition technology, likely found near many image facing
products, public or secret.
Unable to obtain steady legal counsel after my injuries, living
under economic duress and an in pro per physically disabled injured
worker since 2001.07.26. I am not without
numerous permanent work-related structural(spine) issues
(neck/lower back) which cause great amounts of neuropathy,
headaches, physical disfunction and discomfort in most all
positions, along with regular inability to sleep or eat without
nausea. Completely unbearable at times, it's usually manageable
with regular activity, adequate treatment and relief providing
medicines. Since October 14th, 2009, I've enjoyed the enhanced
tracking of my physical activity level with a handy Fitbit. It lets me know how well I sleep, and a
number of other pedestrian statistics related to one's health.
Opiates, narcotics, and the various "pain" or psychological
effecting drugs, SCIF and
their doctors, had me take or risk loss of benefits,
do not get along with my DNA,
physiology, only to provide extreme negative benefits to myself and
well being.
Health care is in the business of getting hurt on the job, in a ponzi-scheme like fashion something I can confidently describe as "Free Market Titties." Moving at their own pace, bouncing workers around, existing for their collective rate increasing financial gain, the injured with no recourse. Or for purpose of delay, baiting, frustration, and through regular acts of ex-parte communications which have been reported to the "authorities" without ruling and to no avail, only to endure more cooperative intimidation and discrimination by the SCIF Lawyers, Adjusters, Managers, State Governors, DIR Employees, IANA Officers, and WCAB Judges. Out of their willfully blatant discrimination and constant delay filled handling of my cases, the California Worker's Compensation System has never once sought to help me regain employment or re-education for work. Read my entire State Compensation Insurance Fund email archive as it grows larger since October 2003 until present day. Eventually I hope to automatically archive, scan, OCR and include all their endlessly automated barrage of medical records, delay and deny filled correspondences from SCIF that weren't lost in the analog world of snail mail, AKA. USPS, and I'll include a total postage counter. I've got several bankers boxes worth even after several mind-numbing deduplication sessions. They take up valuable real estate in my home, information security, and weigh a ton making it difficult to move or change addresses.
